Benefits To Car Window Tint

 1. Blocks The Heat and Keeps Your Interior Cooler:
Do you always have your AC on full blast? Well, if your windows are not tinted, the sun is constantly heating up your interior and your AC is always struggling to keep it cool. When your windows are tinted, it blocks the heat that gets inside, making your car feel cooler.

 2. Gives You More Privacy:
Without your windows tinted, everyone can see what you do (or what you have) inside your vehicle at all times. It’s annoying. If you want more privacy and protection, then getting your windows tinted will greatly help with that.

 3. Holds Your Glass Together If Broken:
Unfortunately, unfavorable events or accidents will happen. If your glass is shattered, for whatever reason, the tint can hold it together instead of the glass spilling all over your interior. Although it doesn’t make the situation any better, it does help to speed up the process to get it fixed.

Clean & Boujee Auto Detailing Window Tinting Process

Tired of bubbles, peeling edges, and purple haze after tinting your windows? We get it—so are we. That’s why at Clean & Boujee Auto Detailing, we offer professional-grade window tinting designed for long-lasting results.

What you can expect:

  1. Start with a clean slate. If there’s an old tint, we remove it and meticulously clean your glass, ensuring no adhesive or contaminants remain.

  2. Precision cutting and installation. We carefully cut, shrink, and fit your tint to each window, taking the time needed to deliver a flawless finish.

  3. Thorough inspection. We double-check the edges, remove any dust or debris, then post-heat the film so it properly bonds to your window.

We only use premium, durable films—not kits from a local auto parts store. You’ll see—and feel—the difference. Most installations take around a day, depending on your vehicle size. If you choose to add on other detailing services, we’ll let you know the schedule ahead of time.

Let us handle your tinting with the care and quality your vehicle deserves.

Worried About Tint Bubbling or Fading Again?

We understand how frustrating it is to see tint bubbling, peeling, or turning purple—especially after you just had it done. It’s more common than you’d think, but there’s good news: it’s preventable with the right products and installation.

At Clean & Boujee Auto Detailing, we only use premium window films, which are backed by a lifetime guarantee against bubbling and discoloration. Even if your previous tint was applied perfectly, low-quality films can degrade over time because the dyes break down. Choosing a quality film ensures your tint stays black and clear for years to come.

Another issue we see is dust, moisture, or debris getting trapped behind the tint during installation. Small bubbles or specks in your glass are usually caused by:

  • Manufacturing defects in the film

  • Creases introduced during installation

  • An environment that wasn’t perfectly clean when the tint was applied

To give you the cleanest and most durable result, we install your tint in a controlled environment. We operate two dedicated bays: one for detailing (interior cleaning, paint correction, ceramic coatings, etc.) and another strictly for film services like window tint, vinyl wraps, and paint protection films. This separation helps keep dust and contaminants away from your tint installation, ensuring a flawless finish.

If you’re concerned about past experiences with window tint, let us show you the difference high-quality film and meticulous installation can make. We’re here to answer your questions and restore your confidence in window tinting.

Window Tint is a Must To Stay Cool While Driving in Hemet Heat

In Hemet’s relentless heat, it can feel like there’s no escape—from your home to the great outdoors to the time you spend driving. One of the most effective ways to keep your vehicle cool is by choosing a high-quality ceramic tint.

Why our Heat Protection Package works:

  • We apply ceramic film on every window—including the windshield—to maximize heat reduction.

  • The windshield is the largest glass surface and lets in the most heat; ceramic film’s advanced heat-blocking properties can dramatically lower your car’s interior temperature.

  • We can show you the difference: visit us for a quick demonstration using our infrared light box. You’ll immediately feel how much heat ceramic film can reject.

This added comfort matters even more if you travel with pets or young children. Traditional tint might cut down glare, but it doesn’t prevent infrared heat from penetrating. With ceramic tint, your passengers—especially kids and animals—stay more comfortable and protected.

At Clean & Boujee Auto Detailing, we’re here to answer all your questions and help you pick the right solution for your vehicle.

COMMON WINDOW TINTING FAQ's

20230728_130024.jpg

How long does it take to tint my windows?

Several factors determine how long a tint job takes—whether we have to remove an old film, how many windows we’re tinting and the size or complexity of those windows. For a full vehicle we typically ask for a full day, while tinting just the front two windows usually only takes a few hours. If there’s existing tint to remove, extra time will be needed to ensure the glass is clean and properly prepped for the new film.

What’s the difference between a tint kit and what you offer?

DIY tint kits can be tempting, but they often use lower‑quality film and require a lot of practice to install without bubbles, creases or dirt contamination. We use professional‑grade films and precise equipment, ensuring a clean, long‑lasting finish without the frustration. You also benefit from our experience in cutting, shrinking and fitting the film perfectly to your vehicle’s glass.

Do you apply tint on the inside or outside of the glass?

Automotive window film is always installed on the inside of the window. You might see film applied temporarily on the outside during cutting and shrinking, but the final installation happens inside the vehicle to protect the film from the elements and ensure better adhesion.

What are the tint laws in California?

California law allows a non‑reflective film along the top four inches of the windshieldtinting-laws.com. For front side windows, aftermarket films must allow more than 88 % of light through or at least 70 % visible‑light transmission (VLT) when combined with factory‑tinted glasstinting-laws.com. The rear side windows and rear window may be tinted to any darknesstinting-laws.com. California also prohibits red, amber or blue tint colors and requires dual side mirrors if the rear window is tintedtinting-laws.com. We use films that comply with these regulations and will guide you on legally‑acceptable shades.

How long will my window tint last?

The lifespan of your tint depends on the film quality and how you care for your vehicle. We use  premium films, which are backed by a lifetime warranty against bubbling, blistering, cracking, delamination, color change or adhesive. Proper care—such as avoiding abrasive cleaners and giving the film time to cure after installation—will help it last for many years.

Can you tint the front windshield?

Yes, but within legal limits. California allows non‑reflective tint on the top four inches of the windshieldtinting-laws.com. We typically use a 70–75 % VLT ceramic film for windshields; this retains clarity while reducing heat and UV transmission. If you’re mainly concerned about heat, we can also recommend a clear ceramic film that won’t darken your view.

What’s the difference between films (classic, carbon and ceramic)?

We offer three tiers of film:

  • Classic (good): Offers privacy and glare reduction but little heat rejection.

  • Carbon (better): Uses carbon particles to resist fading, offers a matte, non‑reflective finish and provides moderate heat and UV rejectionoctintsolutions.com. It’s a great mid‑range option.

  • Ceramic (best): Uses nano‑ceramic particles, blocks up to 99 % of UV rays and a very high percentage of infrared heatoctintsolutions.com. It doesn’t interfere with electronics and provides the most noticeable reduction in cabin temperature. Ceramic film costs more but offers the best performance.

When can I roll down my windows after tinting?

To ensure the film properly cures and adheres, wait at least 24 hours before rolling your windows down. If the weather is cooler or rainy, waiting 48 hours is safer. Rolling down windows too soon can cause the film to shift, creating gaps or peeling edges.

Do you remove old tint before installing new film?

Yes. Any existing film has to be removed so the new film can adhere to clean glass. Removal time varies—sometimes the old tint peels off easily; other times it comes off in tiny pieces and leaves adhesive behind. We thoroughly clean the glass before installing your new film to ensure a flawless finish.

Should I try to install tint myself?

DIY kits are available and can be rewarding for hobbyists, but achieving a clean, long‑lasting result requires practice, proper tools and a dust‑free environment. Many customers who start with DIY kits eventually come to us to remove bubbles or replace peeling film. If you value quality, a professional installation is the way to go.

My glass has small chips—will that affect the tint?

Small chips or minor scratches won’t generally affect tint adhesion, but you might notice them more clearly once the film is on. Chips may create small dark spots when viewed through the film. For larger cracks or stone chips, we recommend repairing the glass before tinting.
